Professional Career

Since 1994 free-lance translator specialised in medicine, pharmaceutics, engineering and patent documentation. Four years working experience in Paris.

From 1991 to 1994 technical translator for pharmaceutical companies.

In 1991 graduation from the University of Heidelberg as translator for English and French specialised in medicine, pharmaceutics and engineering.


Academic training

Studies of translation science with medicine and engineering as special subjects at the University of Heidelberg. Additional semesters spent in Cambridge/Great Britain and Metz/France.

Member of the German Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ) and of the French Association of Translators (SFT).
